Zu den wesentlichen Neuerungen gehört das Segement Mangement. Dies ist im Dashboard unte rBesucher zu finden und führt nun alle Optionen an einen Ort zusammen. Segemente können hier erstellt, bearbeitet und organisiert werden.

Eine weitere Neuerung von matomo 5.9.0 ist der Kalender zum filtern von Auswertungen. Dieser hat neue Zeiträume erhalten, sodass eine schnelle Klick-Lösung zum filtern geschaffen wurde.
